The Bay Unite building has been a house of prayer in Herne Bay for over 150 years. Prayer is an open invitation into God's presence- a quiet moment where you can express your gratitude, voice frustrations, and pour out your hopes, fears, and longings. Its not about perfect words or formulas. Rather, it is a refuge where you can be fully yourself, speaking from your heart, knowing you are heard.

Sacred Prayer Space

Whenever our doors are open, there will always be a welcoming space for people of all faiths and none, to come in , encounter Gods love, sit in quiet reflection, and offer up the longings of your heart

Potters House

We are each uniquely crafted in the image of God—not formed

from a mould but shaped with care by His loving hands.

In this retreat we will take inspiration from Kintsugi, the ancient

Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold—an act that

transforms what was once shattered into something even more

beautiful. Rather than hiding cracks and scars, we honour them as

part of our story. In a culture that often tells us to mask our flaws,

we learn the gentler truth, wholeness is not the absence of

brokenness, but the embrace of it.

Prayer Labyrinth

A prayer labyrinth is not a maze to get lost in, but a sacred path to

find yourself—and something greater. It is a physical, meditative

journey that mirrors the inward journey of the soul. Unlike a maze,

a labyrinth has only one path in and one path out.

In this retreat there are no wrong turns—just a gentle, winding

road that leads you to the centre and out again. Each step is an

invitation to slow down, let go of distraction, and listen to the one

who knows you completely and loves you endlessly.

Time and date to be announced.
